I've been here a few times with my significant other and we love it. The basil chicken is delicious as is the Tom yum soup. The prices are very reasonable as well and the portion sizes are generous. The decor is a little dated but the food more than makes up for it.

I am pretty sure my friends and I dined in when they were hosting either wedding or vow renewal celebration party. We were seated at one end of the restaurant with all the other walk-in patrons and three quarter of the space were filled with family/guests for the event. We didn't mind it at all- actually thought it was cool to witness the event haha. The food was delicious. A little pricier than normal since this is a bigger sized restaurant and you can find same portion and type of food at a smaller establishment for a lower cost. The bbq chicken surprised us all with its crunchy texture and seasoning. That was the standout of the night along with the beef sticks. My only con like every other super Asian place is that I asked for water like 3 times and the lady literally didn't understand me I even made hand gestures of drinking and she just smiled and nodded and walked away lol.

All around brought home away from home! The hot and sour soup was so tender and nice chunks of beef and tripes. Reminds me of moms for sure. The live band and karaoke was the bonus for me because growing up that's what I always remembered parties. Server was very attentive to native people and speaking Khmer. Server also made it really easy to order when we sat down and recommended Family Combos and we decided on Combo B. Combo B comes with a little bit of everything. From Appetizer Chicken Youm Salad, Prahok Steamed with Egg and ground Pork, BBQ Beef Sticks and Hot and Sour Beef Salaw Machu. We ordered a side of Stirred Fry Clams as well!

I had driven by this restaurant so many times and decided to finally try it for dinner when people were visiting. We parked outside and when we first went in it was empty, which was a bit eerie, but a few more parties arrived as time passed. Service was fine. The restaurant is large and resembles a banquet hall, and was complete with live fish tanks. The menus were a bit dilapidated but they had a large variety of dishes. For our party of 7, we ordered the "A" Family Dinner set and added fried intestines, stir-fried ong choy, and beef chow fun. Portions were generous and prices actually very fair; we spent ~$150 for our group so just a little over $20/person. Plates and presentation were simple, but the food was tasty. We also got a pretty big container of steamed white rice. The flavors were definitely very Southeast Asian. I particularly enjoyed how crispy the fried intestines were without being oily. Overall, a solid dinner and better than I was expecting!

Absolutely stellar experience! The service at this place was top-notch, thanks to our fantastic server, Bryan Sam, who went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. The food portions were generous and left us more than satisfied. If you're looking for a dining experience where both the service and the meal are exceptional, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Hak Heang is a staple for Khmer families to host weddings, but they are open all day for casual dining as well. One of my favorite places to dine in for authentic Khmer food. I ordered seafood Mekathang & jasmine hot tea. Service was very attentive & dishes come out very quickly. The flavors of the Khmer seafood stir fried noodles are always a hit. Hak Heang is a great place to stop by if you're looking for authentic Cambodian food.
